Zhumadilov spoke about the companies that blocked food tenders for the Armed Forces.

The firms that blocked the first tenders of the State Logistics Operator for the supply of food to the Armed Forces wanted to avoid any liability for failure to fulfill the terms of the contracts. Arsen Zhumadilov, Director General of the State Logistics Operator, said this in an interview with Ukrainian Radio, UNN reports.

Details

"This is the business that decided to try to raise the rates so that the state would go along with their very strange conditions. They wanted no liability for supply disruptions at all, no changes in prices when the market goes down. For your understanding, we have written the contract terms so that when the market changes, when certain products become cheaper, this should be reflected in our contracts. That is, to avoid a situation like the one with seasonal vegetables. To avoid a situation like the one with buckwheat, when it cost 20-25 hryvnias in supermarkets, but under contracts it was still 40 or 50+ hryvnias per kilogram. But all these conditions were unacceptable for suppliers. They wanted everything to remain the same. They wanted to negotiate on their own terms. I can say that their demarche failed. We have already contracted and continue to contract suppliers," Zhumadilov said.

According to him, law enforcement agencies should be interested in the actions of these companies.

"I don't rule out that these suppliers will try to discredit the supplies themselves in some way. But... We are still a country at war. And I hope that at this stage, law enforcement agencies should already give their assessment of what is happening. Because, in fact, at this stage, it will be nothing more than obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," added the Director General of the State Defense Enterprise.

Recall

On March 11, the DOT announced the signing of the first contracts for the supply of food to the Armed Forces without using the electronic system. The average price for a set was UAH 109.35 per unit.

Before that, the Kyiv District Administrative Court dismissed a lawsuit challenging the requirements set out in the draft contract for the purchase of food for the Armed Forces.

In particular, the plaintiff challenged the requirements regarding the obligation of suppliers to register tax invoices in a timely manner and to provide the customer with the opportunity to check the storage conditions of food to be supplied to the military.

After that, the firms that applied to participate in the tenders withdrew from them.

Earlier, the Board of the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal, following a lawsuit filed by Trade Granit Invest, canceled the condition prohibiting the participation in tenders of suppliers who failed to fulfill their obligations to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in 2022-2023.

Because of this, the State Logistics Operator was forced to cancel 11 tenders.

The company Trade Granite Invest is most likely involved in a powerful information attack on the new team of the Defense Ministry and the DOT, which could be led by Viktor Medvedchuk, a traitor to Ukraine.
