Syrskyi visited combat brigades in the Donetsk region and assessed the enemy's actions. The Russians are attempting to break through the defenses of Pokrovsk using small infantry groups.

According to General Syrskyi, the enemy army is betting on small infantry groups, using the tactic of infiltration by individual servicemen and their accumulation in the inter-positional space. However, despite all attempts, the Russian invaders are failing to achieve the goals set by Moscow.
"There are many sectors where we have the opportunity to increase our own active operations and dictate our terms to the enemy. There, the aggressor suffers heavy losses and tries to hold certain areas of the terrain themselves to prevent the advancement of our troops.
This becomes possible thanks to the resilience of our warriors, competent planning, high-quality training of servicemen for combat missions, and the skillful use of weapons," emphasizes Oleksandr Syrskyi.
At the front, there are also already results regarding Middle Strike – the creation of joint centers, improvement of interaction between various components of the Defense Forces, deployment of additional units in corps, etc.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine are destroying enemy logistics, a larger number of Russian personnel and equipment, their command posts, UAV launch sites and locations of enemy operators, air defense systems, electronic warfare (EW), and signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems.
The Commander-in-Chief met with the heads of military command bodies, commanders of formations and units of the Defense Forces directly performing combat missions in the sector. He heard detailed reports on the current situation.
They also discussed issues regarding the organization of defense and our active operations. He listened to and supported the sound proposals of the commanders.
They planned further steps to increase the effectiveness of fire damage – both by UAVs and artillery, and to improve the interaction of our units and logistics.
