Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 52 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces. The greatest enemy activity is observed in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, and Kostiantynivka directions.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 52 times. The enemy is actively operating on the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka directions, reports UNN citing the General Staff's summary.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in Sumy region, the settlements of Bachivsk, Neskuchne, Sopych, Korenyok, Seredyna-Buda, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Iskryskivshchyna, Bezsalivka were affected; in Chernihiv region – Arkhypivka.
On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out one airstrike, launched one missile, conducted 36 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including one shelling using a multiple launch rocket system.
On the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the invaders tried to break through the defense in the area of Starytsia three times.
On the Kupiansk direction, one enemy attack occurred towards Kupiansk.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Drobysheve, Novoselivka, Stavky, Lyman, Ozerne. One attack is still ongoing.
On the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Riznykivka and towards Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out one attack in the area of Fedorivka Druha.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled 10 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ilinivka and towards Mykolaipillia and Vilne. One combat engagement is ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 13 times to push our soldiers from their positions in the areas of Dorozhnie, Udachne and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Serhiivka.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once towards Berezove.
On the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks towards Charivne.
On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently taking place. No attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded, the General Staff summarized.
