Details
"According to the results of March 2025, exports of agricultural products from Ukraine amounted to 5.4 million tons worth 2.1 billion US dollars. With the country's total exports of 3.6 billion US dollars, the share of agricultural products is 58%. The key positions are corn and sunflower oil," the ministry said.
Top 5 export categories:
- corn - 514 million US dollars / 2.4 million tons;
- sunflower oil - 503 million US dollars / 441 thousand tons;
- wheat - 254 million US dollars / 1.1 million tons;
- soybeans - 150 million US dollars / 370 thousand tons;
- poultry meat - 95 million US dollars / 41 thousand tons.
Compared to March 2024, there is an increase in the value of exports by 87 million US dollars (+4%). "This was made possible by maintaining strong positions of more marginal goods in the export structure - sunflower oil, soybeans and poultry meat, as well as a general increase in prices for agricultural products," the Ministry of Agrarian Policy explained.
"The agricultural sector remains the backbone of the Ukrainian economy, providing more than half of the country's foreign exchange earnings in wartime. Our producers continue to demonstrate competitiveness in the global market, and the Ministry is consistently working to diversify sales markets and expand the export potential of the processing industry," said Vitaliy Koval, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Such a price environment in world markets contributed to an increase in the value of Ukrainian agricultural exports.
