Power outages are not planned, 499 settlements are without electricity - Ministry of Energy

The Ministry of Energy reported that power outage schedules will not be applied. Due to hostilities and technical disruptions, 499 settlements remain without electricity, and energy workers have restored power for 40,120 consumers.

The application of power outage schedules is not planned. Emergency electricity assistance from Slovakia was provided the day before. For various reasons, 499 settlements remain without electricity supply as of the morning. This was reported on Thursday by the Ministry of Energy, writes UNN.

Generation and consumption

"Today, power outages are not planned", - the message says.

As indicated, the day before, the Ukrainian power system received emergency assistance from Slovakia.

It is noted that a large-scale repair campaign and restoration of energy facilities to prepare for the autumn-winter period is ongoing.

"It is important to use electricity rationally and economically, especially during peak load hours - from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00. This helps the power system to work more stably", the ministry emphasized.

Consequences of shelling

Dnipropetrovsk region: during the UAV attack on the substation, equipment was turned off. Consumers were not de-energized.

Chernihiv region: as a result of enemy shelling, household consumers were de-energized. In total, 3,675 subscribers remained without electricity supply.

Kharkiv region: due to hostilities, a substation and household consumers were de-energized.

Emergencies

Kharkiv region: during the work, three electricians for repair and installation received burns of varying degrees. They were taken to the hospital.

Disconnection of consumers

The day before, energy workers restored power supply for 40,120 consumers disconnected due to hostilities.

In total, due to hostilities and technical violations, 499 settlements remain without electricity supply as of the morning.

Situation at the ZNPP

"The water level in the cooling pond is 14.67 m. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the station", the Ministry of Energy said.
