Poroshenko invests hundreds of millions in the economies of other states and calls not to invest in Ukraine, - expert.

People's Deputy and leader of "European Solidarity" Petro Poroshenko receives large interest payments from foreign companies, pays taxes in Turkey, and calls on others not to invest in Ukraine. This was stated by political analyst Valentyn Hladkykh, citing his declaration from July 16, 2026.
"Recently, at the Economic Forum in Lviv, Petro Poroshenko called for not investing in Ukraine. His latest declaration in July 2026 confirms that this is not just a call. It clearly shows that Poroshenko is moving his capital out of Ukraine, investing in foreign companies, and paying taxes outside our country. Thus, the latest declaration dated July 16 indicates that the 'hetman' received millions in interest from TURKIYE VAKIFLAR BANKASI T.A.O. (Turkey), Deutsche Telekom AG (Germany), T.C. Ziraat Bankasi A.S. (Turkey), and Credit Agricole SA (France). He also paid taxes on these, mainly to the Turkish budget. Earlier, the 'gray-haired one' generously invested in the government of pro-Russian Orbán, and before that, in the economy of Russia, where he had several enterprises," wrote Hladkykh.
According to him, this is explained by the fact that due to massive shelling, Poroshenko suffered large losses.
"In words, Petro loves Ukraine, earned from it for decades, but developing the country is not to his liking. He says it is unprofitable. Thus, at the economic forum, Poroshenko complained that due to massive Russian attacks, when dozens of people died, he lost a marmalade workshop, and overall suffered losses in the millions from the shelling," the expert reported.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine's losses from Poroshenko's business with Russia significantly exceed the cost of the marmalade workshop of the Roshen factory.
"I want to remind that for Poroshenko, Russia has always been a business partner, even during the war. And the losses they together inflicted on Ukraine are much greater than the losses from the shelling of the marmalade workshop of this hypocritical Willy Wonka of Ukrainian politics," Hladkykh noted.
He named the amounts of losses caused to the state by Poroshenko's schemes with Russia.
"I will cite only a few billion-dollar amounts that our state lost due to the business of the 'icebreaker.' Coal trade with the Russian ORDLO — UAH 39.9 billion. Poroshenko faces charges of treason for this. 'Svynarchuks.' Supply by Poroshenko's godfather of Russian components to Ukrainian defense enterprises at inflated prices. Total incriminated losses — at least UAH 66.4 million. 'Medvedchuk's pipe' — illegal appropriation of the state oil pipeline by the 'gray-haired one's' intermediary firms and Ukraine's loss of profit. Estimated losses — about $210 million. The Lipetsk Roshen factory continued to receive dividends from Russian assets after the start of the war; for 2014–2016 — about $72 million in dividends, and taxes went to Putin's army," the political analyst wrote.
He emphasized that now Poroshenko is investing large sums in the economies of other states and calls for not investing in Ukraine.
"This is only a small part of the schemes of Poroshenko's cooperation with the Russian Federation during the war. Petro, together with Putin, have been bleeding our country dry for decades. And now, when Putin is bombing it, Poroshenko is investing hundreds of millions in the economies of other states and calls for not investing in Ukraine," Hladkykh wrote.
As previously reported, Petro Poroshenko stated that the total amount of losses from Russian attacks on his enterprises since 2022 amounts to $172 million.
