Partial power outages recorded in five regions of Ukraine due to shelling - Ministry of Energy

Russian shelling of energy infrastructure has led to power outages in five regions of Ukraine. Despite damage to the networks, there are no plans to introduce restriction schedules for consumers today. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, according to UNN.

As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply

- the statement reads.

Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply to all subscribers as quickly as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock.

It is noted that no planned restrictions in the power system are forecasted for today. Consumers can find all up-to-date information regarding possible changes in energy supply on the official resources of their local distribution system operators.

To stabilize the network's operation, citizens are urged to shift the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours — from 11:00 to 15:00. In the evening, from 18:00 to 22:00, it is recommended to use electricity as sparingly as possible, which will significantly reduce the overall load on the power system.

As a reminder

On June 11, due to a Russian attack, two districts of Zaporizhzhia were de-energized. 50,000 consumers were left without power; specialists have already begun restoring the supply.
