More than 50 million US residents have been warned about the threat of tornadoes and other extreme weather conditions this week. This was reported by ABC News, UNN reports.

The publication reminds that the day before, baseball-sized hail and numerous tornadoes were recorded in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Kansas.
The threat of destructive storms has shifted slightly south from where strong winds ripped roofs off several buildings on Monday, including the collapse of the roof of a nursing home in Lodi, Wisconsin.
It is indicated that for some areas of Iowa, southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, far northern Indiana, far northwestern Ohio, and southern Michigan, there is an "elevated risk" of Level 3 out of 5 severe storms. In some areas of the Midwest, including the cities of Chicago, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Iowa, and Detroit, strong tornadoes, destructive winds, and large hail are possible.
"On Wednesday, severe storms are expected from Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City and Tulsa, to southern Wisconsin. Some areas of Kansas, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, including the cities of Pittsburgh and Cleveland, may also be at risk of bad weather on Wednesday," the media writes.
