Over the past day, 164 combat engagements were recorded, and the enemy used over 10,000 kamikaze drones. The defense forces eliminated 1,040 occupiers and 64 artillery systems.
Over the past day, April 9, 164 combat engagements took place at the front. The enemy launched 75 air strikes, dropping 250 guided aerial bombs, UNN reports with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy also used 10,100 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,625 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 107 from multiple rocket launchers.
Air strikes were carried out, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Lisne, Nove Pole, Vozdvyzhivka, Pryluky, Verkhnia Tersa, Liubytske, Hirke, Huliaipilske, Barvinivka, Shyroke, Charivne, Veselianka, Mykilske and Kushuhum of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as Svarkove, Fotovyzh in Sumy Oblast.
Aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit seven areas of concentration of manpower and one enemy cannon.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy launched one air strike using one KAB, carried out 106 shellings of Ukrainian troop positions and settlements, including six using MLRS. One combat engagement was recorded.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders seven times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsia, Krasne Pershe, Synelnykove, Prylipka, Lyman.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the direction of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Novoosinove, Kivsharivka and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked six times, trying to break into the Ukrainian defense, attacking in the areas of Hrekivka, Zarichne and in the direction of the settlements of Stavky, Dibrova, Novyi Myr and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders stopped five attempts by the occupiers to advance in the direction of Riznykivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked once in the direction of Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 32 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Muravka, Hryshyne, Udachne, Filiia and in the direction of the settlements of Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Novopidhorodne, Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, according to updated information, the enemy attacked seven times in the directions of the settlements of Lisne, Oleksandrograf, Novoselevka and in the area of Novohryhorivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were 18 attacks by the occupiers in the direction of the settlements of Pryluky, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Olenokostiantynivka, Varvarivka and in the areas of Myrny and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out five assault actions in the areas of the Antonivskyi bridge and Bilohrudyi island.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1040 people. The enemy also lost a tank, two armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, a multiple rocket launcher, 2238 unmanned aerial vehicles, 229 units of automotive equipment and two units of special equipment.
