On July 31, the Ukrainians will compete in shooting, diving, rowing, swimming, gymnastics, tennis, and boxing. The day before, the national team had been successful in tennis and boxing, but finished in football.

Ukrainian athletes will compete in 8 sports at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on July 31. In the medal standings, with one bronze medal, Ukraine ranks 35th, according to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, UNN reports.

"Today, on July 31, on the fifth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine will compete in 8 sports," the NOC said.

The schedule of performances is based on Kyiv time:

Rifle (50 m rifle, three positions)

10:00 - men's qualification, Sergiy Kulish

Diving (10m synchronized tower), medals will be awarded

12:00 - women's final: Ksenia Bailo, Sofia Lyskun

Rowing, medals will be awarded

12:14 - Men's lightweight doubles, semifinals: Ihor Khmara and Stanislav Kovalev

13:38 - Women's doubles, final: Yevheniya Dovgodko, Kateryna Dudchenko, Daryna Verkhoglyad, Anastasiia Kozhenkova

Swimming

12:21 - Men's 200m backstroke, qualifying round: Alexander Zheltiakov

Slalom (single sculls)

16:30 - women's semifinal, Victoria Us

Artistic gymnastics (individual all-around), medals will be awarded

18:30 - men's final: Oleg Vernyaev, Ilya Kovtun

Tennis

19:00 - women's doubles, second round: Liudmyla Kichenok and Nadiya Kichenok

21:30 - Women, fourth round: Marta Kostiuk

Boxing (weight class up to 57 kg)

21:32 - men, 1/8 finals: Aider Abduraimov

Results of the competition day on July 30

On the fourth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the Ukrainian national team competed in 9 sports.

Table tennis (singles)

In the 1/16 finals, Margarita Pesotska lost in 5 games to Bernardet Soch from Romania (1:4) and finished her performance at the Games.

Badminton (singles)

In the second round of the group stage, Polina Bugrova defeated Czech Tereza Švabikova 1-2 (21:19, 19:21, 21:18). However, this is not enough to get out of the group.

Swimming

Denys Kesil finished 24th in the 200-meter butterfly qualifying round and did not qualify for the semifinals.

In the 1/32 finals, Mykhailo Usach lost to world ranking leader Marcus D'Almeida from Brazil (2:6)

Fencing (epee, team)

In the 1/4 finals, Joan Fabi Bejura, Daria Varfolomeeva, Olena Kryvitska and Vlada Kharkiv failed to defeat the team from China (41:45).

In the tournament for the 5th-8th places, the Ukrainian team defeated Egypt (45:31) and lost to the second place in the world ranking, the South Korean team (38:45). Thus, the Ukrainian fencers finished their performance at the Games in 6th place.

Tennis

In the third round, Marta Kostiuk and Elina Svitolina played grueling three-set matches. While Marta's match with Greece's Maria Sakkari ended in a victory for the Ukrainian (6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 4-6), Elina was defeated by Barbara Krejcikova of the Czech Republic (6-7(5), 6-2, 4-6)

Marta Kostiuk and Diana Yastremska withdrew from the doubles tournament in favor of the singles tournament, in which Marta is participating.

Slalom (single sculls)

Viktoriia Us finished 9th in the qualifiers and advanced to the semifinals.

Football (3rd round)

Ukraine loses to Argentina (0:2) and ends its participation in the Olympics.

Boxing (weight class up to 80 kg)

In the 1/8 finals, Oleksandr Khyzhnyak defeated ex-Ukrainian Pylyp Akilov, representing Hungary, by a split decision of the judges.
