Massive Russian attack leads to delays of over three hours for several trains

Due to shelling of infrastructure, Ukrzaliznytsia trains are running with delays of up to four hours. Railway workers are using backup locomotives to maintain movement.

A number of trains are delayed following a massive Russian attack, some by more than 3 hours, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on Monday, UNN writes.
Due to infrastructure damage, as well as the need for stops to evacuate passengers, a number of trains are moving with delays. At the same time, long-distance train service between cities has been maintained,
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the largest deviations from the schedule are recorded for:
- 53/54 Odesa-Dnipro +3.50 hours;
- 75/76 Kryvyi Rih-Kyiv +3.30 hours;
- 21/22 Kharkiv-Lviv +3.30 hours;
- 65/66 Kyiv-Sumy +3.30 hours;
- 7/8 Odesa-Kharkiv +3 hours;
- 39/40 Zaporizhzhia-Solotvyno +3.40 hours;
- 45/46 Kharkiv-Uzhhorod +3.30 hours;
- 21/22 Lviv-Kharkiv +3.15 hours.
"It is important to note: delay times may change. Therefore, please follow the announcements at stations and on board closely," UZ indicated.
Railway workers are reportedly "working to repair the damage, using backup locomotives, and adapting routes to deliver passengers to their destinations as quickly as possible."
