A Russian attack has destroyed an innovative Nova Poshta terminal in Kyiv. The company has activated backup routes and will pay compensation for lost parcels.
As a result of Russian shelling, an innovative Nova Poshta terminal in Kyiv was destroyed. This was reported by the company's press service, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that the strike hit one of the company's key logistics facilities. At the time of the attack, employees were in shelters, so there were no fatalities or injuries.
After the hit, a fire broke out on the terminal's territory, which was promptly localized. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are currently working at the scene, and an assessment of the extent of the damage is underway.
The company emphasized that the Kyiv innovative terminal is one of the network's main sorting centers and Nova Poshta's first innovative terminal.
As a result of the attack, part of the building, sorting equipment, and some of the shipments located on the facility's territory were destroyed.

Despite the losses, Nova Poshta has already activated backup logistics routes and operational schemes. Currently, the delivery of shipments is carried out as usual without changes for customers.
The company also reported that it will compensate customers for the loss of damaged or destroyed shipments. In the near future, company representatives will contact recipients to clarify the details of the reimbursement.
