In Odesa region, a "Shahed" attacked a passenger train: nearly 600 people were in the carriages

In Odesa region, a Russian jet-powered Shahed-type drone struck the locomotive of passenger train No. 147 traveling on the Zhytomyr–Odesa route. The passengers and railway workers were evacuated in advance, and there were no casualties. This was reported by Oleksandr Pertсovsky, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia, according to UNN.

It is known that 593 passengers were aboard the train, including 15 children.

The Odesa Regional Military Administration and the State Emergency Service joined efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack and assist the passengers. Arrangements are currently being made to transport the passengers onward to Odesa.
