The leaders of the G7 countries have reaffirmed their unwavering support for Kyiv on the thousandth day of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, UNN reports.

The leaders of the United States, Germany, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Japan, on the initiative of Prime Minister Georgia Maloney, who holds the Italian presidency of the G7, adopted a joint statement of support for Ukraine.
"We, the leaders of the G7, reaffirm our strong support for Ukraine, which we will continue to provide for as long as necessary. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty, freedom, independence, territorial integrity and recovery. We also recognize the impact of Russia's aggression on people around the world," the joint statement reads.
"After a thousand days of war, we recognize the tremendous suffering that the Ukrainian people have endured. Despite these hardships, Ukrainians have demonstrated exceptional resilience and determination in defending their land, their culture and their people. Russia remains the only obstacle to a just and lasting peace. The G7 reaffirms its commitment to making Russia bear heavy consequences for its actions through sanctions, export restrictions and other effective measures.
