IMF to discuss VAT alternatives for individual entrepreneurs with Ukraine - Svyrydenko

The search for alternative sources of budget revenue for 2027 is currently underway.

The International Monetary Fund understands the sensitivity of the issue of introducing VAT taxation for individual entrepreneurs in Ukraine. This was announced on Telegram by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, reports UNN.
Details
As Svyrydenko noted, during the spring meetings, the parties found an understanding that this is indeed a sensitive topic and not a constructive idea.
During the spring meetings in Washington, we held numerous consultations with the IMF and European partners. We will continue to work together on the necessary solutions and develop other alternative measures to ensure the revenue part of the budget for 2027.
Additionally
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko discussed with the US Treasury Secretary the strengthening of sanctions against Russia and preventing their cancellation.
Recall
During the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko announced that Ukraine has already attracted about 90% of the funds within the ERA Loans mechanism. This amounts to approximately 45 billion dollars.
