"The heat will increase from August 15, starting in the western regions and the southwest.
Next, the hot weather will spread to most of Ukraine," Didenko said on Facebook.
At the same time, she said, "by Ukraine's Independence Day, everything will stabilize, level out, and it will be comfortably warm and sunny.
Rainy weather is forecast for the weekend in some regions.
"Saturday. Rains. Volyn, Rivne region, north, sometimes central part, Odesa region. Mykolaiv region. In some places, thunderstorms. In the rest of Ukraine - without significant precipitation. Sunday. Rains will be observed. In the morning - Kyiv and Poltava regions. And that's it. The weather is mostly dry everywhere," Didenko said.
According to her, the air temperature on August 10-11 is expected to reach +24...+29 degrees in most regions of Ukraine, and +28...+32 degrees in the south.
In Kyiv, there will be localized rains and thunderstorms over the weekend. But there will be plenty of sunshine. The air temperature will fluctuate around +26 degrees, the forecaster said.
