Since the beginning of the day, 200 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. The enemy used nearly 5,000 kamikaze drones and carried out over 1,200 shellings.
Since the beginning of this day, which was supposed to be the first day of the "Russian truce," a total of 200 combat engagements have taken place at the front. The enemy deployed nearly 5,000 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 1,200 shellings, UNN reports, citing the General Staff summary.
The adversary launched one missile strike, carried out 12 airstrikes, and dropped 55 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they utilized 4,936 kamikaze drones for strikes and conducted 1,265 shellings of populated areas and our troops' positions
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, seven combat engagements occurred. The enemy carried out 21 shellings of settlements and our troops' positions, one of which involved a multiple launch rocket system.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy launched 12 assaults on the positions of our units in the areas of Prylypka, Vovchansk, Lyman, Starytsia, and toward Izbytske, Chaikivka, and Ternova.
In the Kupiansk direction today, the enemy conducted one offensive action toward Radkivka.
In the Lyman direction today, the enemy initiated four assaults toward the settlements of Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kalenyky.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out one attack in the direction of Tykhonivka.
The Defense Forces successfully repelled 17 enemy assaults in the Kostiantynivka direction, near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 30 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske, Muravka, Zatyshshia, Ivanivka, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, and toward Serhiivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 39 occupiers were liquidated and 20 wounded in this direction today; a UAV control point, two cannons, seven units of motor vehicles, and two units of special equipment belonging to the enemy were destroyed. One artillery system, seven units of motor vehicles, one UAV control point, and 120 personnel shelters were damaged. 196 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers tried to improve their positions three times, attacking in the areas of Oleksandrohrad and Vorone.
In the Huiaipole direction, 13 enemy attacks took place in the areas of Dobropillia, Zlahoda, Zaliznychne, Bahate, and toward Staroukrainka and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, our defenders successfully stopped three assault actions toward the Antonivka Bridge.
In other directions, there were no significant changes in the situation, the General Staff summarized.
As a reminder
Russia announced the introduction of a so-called "truce" from May 8 to 10 in honor of the May 9 celebrations. However, the occupiers did not adhere to it and continued to attack on May 8.
