During the year of war, Poroshenko's MPs and the OPFL purchased apartments and cars worth millions - NACP.

Deputies of the city councils of Lviv and Kharkiv from Petro Poroshenko's EU faction and representatives of the ex-OPFL ("Restoration of Ukraine") massively declared valuable real estate and luxury cars that were purchased last year during the large-scale Russian invasion. This was reported by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

Thus, according to the declaration for 2023 published on the NACP website, Volodymyr Marusiak, a deputy of the Lviv City Council from Poroshenko's European Solidarity party , purchased a 191m2 house in Lviv, a land plot of several hundred square meters, and a 2022 BMW X5. The Poroshenko ally paid 3 million 473 thousand hryvnias ($88,000) for the car. Marusiak indicated the official value of the house at 4 million 388 thousand hryvnias, or only 580 dollars per meter. Meanwhile, the average cost per square meter of real estate in Lviv is reported by specialized websites at $1230 per square meter.

Another member of Poroshenko's team, MP Oleksiy Riznyk, declared half of a house in Lviv with an area of almost 270 m2, an apartment in Lviv with an area of 113 m2, non-residential premises, and a 2023 Lexus RX350 (registered in his wife's name) worth UAH 2,864,863 ($72,583).

Ulyana Pak, a member of Poroshenko's party , also bought an almost 100-meter apartment in Lviv. In addition to the apartment, she bought a new Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ 2023 for UAH 1,073,000.

Yuriy Moravetskyi , a Lviv MP from the Eurosolidarity party, also got a car. He declared an elite Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 of 2022, the average market value of which is about $40 ,000. However, the MP himself indicated a different price - only 697,436 UAH ($17 ,670).

Other Poroshenko's associates also have new acquisitions in their declarations: cars, apartments, houses, non-residential premises, etc.

The situation is similar with the declarations of Kharkiv city council deputies from the ex-Opposition Platform for Life. In particular, among the declared property acquired in 2023 by representatives of the Restoration of Ukraine parliamentary group are land plots and apartments.

For example, Anastasia Hubina, a member of the Kharkiv City Council , declared the acquisition in 2023 of almost 36 hectares of land near Kharkiv, a residential property in Turkey worth 2,790,000 UAH ($70,686), and corporate rights worth 1,214,9850 UAH ($307,825).

Her colleague Serhiy Danylobought cryptocurrencies worth UAH 3,871,150 ($98,078), and Viktor Larchenko declared a 445 m2 apartment in Kharkiv, a 2,488 m2 house, and 10 and 20 hectares of land.

Ihor Ovechkin, a deputy from the former OPFL , also increased his property during the war. In his declaration, he showed an apartment of 122.8 m2 worth UAH 8,202,361 ($207,812) purchased in Kyiv, a 2020 Mercedes Benz GLE 400 worth UAH 2,922,865 ($74,053).

As previously reported, the head of the EU parliamentary faction, MP Petro Poroshenko, declared UAH 1 billion 440 million in income in 2023. This, together with the income of 2022, is almost 20 times more than all the MP's income for the pre-war year of 2021. During the war, Poroshenko also moved from a place in the second ten to the top three richest oligarchs in Ukraine.
