Dozens of occupants and Russian armored vehicles destroyed: DIU Special Forces raid Kinburn Spit

The DIU conducted an operation on the occupied Kinburn Spit, attacking Russian fortifications. Six armored vehicles and about 30 occupants were destroyed, and a Ukrainian battle flag was planted.

On Friday, August 9, soldiers  of the Main Intelligence Directorate landed on the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit. There they attacked Russian fortifications and planted a battle flag. This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Details

The operation was carried out by the military units Chimera, Stugna, Paragon, Siberian Battalion, and Terror as part of the Timur special forces. They were supported by the Ukrainian Navy and other components of the Defense Forces.

In total, during the raid, the Special Forces attacked Russian fortifications at the Kinburn Fortress, Marine Station, and Suvorov Monument positions. They managed to destroy six units of enemy armored vehicles and about three dozen Russians.

DIU warriors planted a battle flag of the Military Intelligence of Ukraine.  Kinburn Spit will be free, like all other temporarily occupied territories

The reconnaissance men also released footage of the operation filmed by an aerial reconnaissance drone.

On August 6, the GUR's special forces conducted an operation in the northern part of the Black Sea. The scouts landed on the Tendra Spit and destroyed Russian equipment, personnel, and fortifications.
