According to the consul of the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovakia, today around 3:00 AM, a road accident occurred on the D1 highway in the direction of Bratislava involving a bus with Ukrainian registration, which was transporting passengers from Ukraine.
As noted by the ministry, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the bus veered off the road and overturned on its side. There were 10 passengers and two drivers on the bus, all of whom are citizens of Ukraine.
"Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene. According to Slovak law enforcement, two female passengers were taken to the nearest hospitals with minor injuries. Other passengers did not require medical attention and later continued their journey by alternative transport. An investigation has been launched into the accident. According to police information, the bus driver tested negative for alcohol. The case is under the control of the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovakia," the ministry added.
