ATESH sabotages helped strike oil refinery and chemical plants in Russia

Agents of the "ATESH" movement claimed to have carried out a series of sabotage operations in the Perm Krai of the Russian Federation, after which the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched strikes on an oil refinery and a chemical complex. This was reported by the "ATESH" movement, according to UNN.

Details

According to the underground movement, agents set fire to telecommunications cabinets on several mobile towers where the Russian military had allegedly placed electronic warfare antennas to counter Ukrainian drones. The movement stated that after this equipment was disabled, an air corridor was opened for attacks.

Strikes on the refinery and chemical complex

"ATESH" claims that on the night of May 7, a drone struck the "Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez" plant—one of Russia's largest oil refineries. Also, according to the movement, on the night of May 23, a strike hit the "AKM" chemical complex of the "Metafrax" company in the city of Gubakha, which produces ammonia and urea.

The underground noted that they are reporting the operation with a delay for the safety of their agents. There is currently no independent confirmation of the claims regarding the involvement of sabotage in these strikes.
