"Orsk was attacked — Orsknefteorgsintez," the Exilenova+ Telegram channel reports.

As stated, "additional OSINT reconnaissance indicates the likely targeting of the ELOU-AVT unit at Orsknefteorgsintez (Orsk Oil Refinery)."

"The hydrocracking complex with a capacity of 1.6 million tonnes per year was preliminarily hit. This is one of the company's key modernization facilities, intended for processing vacuum gas oil and producing light petroleum products," the report says.

"The oil refinery in Orsk continues to burn," the Telegram channel indicates.

The region's governor, yevgeny solntsev, reported that an airspace restriction regime — the "Carpet" plan — had been introduced. 

The fact that PJSC "Orsknaftoorgsintez" (Orsk Oil Refinery) is under attack in Orsk is also recorded by ASTRA's OSINT analysis.

Earlier, the city's head, artem vorobyov, confirmed the attack on the region. In addition, temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft were introduced at Orsk Airport.

PJSC "Orsknaftoorgsintez," as stated, is one of russia's largest oil refineries, located in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region. It is part of the ForteInvest holding structure, which belongs to Mikhail Gutseriyev's Safmar group.

The processing capacity is about 6 million tonnes of oil per year. The enterprise produces a wide range of products: gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products. The Orsk Oil Refinery plays an important role in supplying petroleum products to the Urals and Volga regions, with some of its output exported.
