Russia struck Ukraine overnight with 5 missiles and 180 drones, of which 4 and 160 were shot down or suppressed respectively, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of July 24 (from 18:00 on July 23), the enemy attacked with five Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea and 180 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody"-type decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – russia, Donetsk - TOT, Gvardiyske, Chaude - TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed four Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles and 160 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
