Heir to the British throne

Prince William Arthur Philip Louis was born on 21 June 1982 in London, the eldest son of then-Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and Princess Diana. He studied at Eton College and later earned a degree in geography from the University of St Andrews, where he met his future wife, Kate Middleton. He underwent military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served for several years in the Royal Air Force, including as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, and later as a pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. He married Catherine Middleton in April 2011, after which the couple received the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; they have three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, his father ascended the throne, and William himself became heir and received the title of Prince of Wales. He is actively involved in charity and environmental initiatives, notably founding the annual "Earthshot Prize" for innovative solutions to climate problems. In 2024, he publicly supported his wife Catherine during her treatment for cancer.
