The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on limiting pensions for those convicted of treason. While serving their sentence, they will receive only UAH 2,361, after that - according to the law.

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a law introducing the "Bolar rule", which will allow the production of generic drugs before the expiration of the patent of original drugs. This will increase competition and lower prices.

The Verkhovna Rada supported the appeal to award journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna the title of Hero of Ukraine (posthumously). The decision was supported by 247 deputies.

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted draft law No. 12385, which regulates the granting of the status of a child who has suffered as a result of hostilities or armed conflicts. The status is granted by the guardianship authority at the place of application.

Adopters cannot be persons with mental disorders, convicted of crimes against national security, domestic abusers, and citizens of the aggressor country. Law No. 10298 has been adopted.
