President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is using special equipment deployed on the territory of Belarus for drone attacks on Ukraine. The head of state said this in his evening address, reports UNN.

According to the president, the Ukrainian side has recorded four repeaters in the Gomel and Brest regions of Belarus, which operate in the interests of Russian troops.

"We in Ukraine know about four such repeaters in Belarus – specifically in the Gomel and Brest regions. It is thanks to such equipment that strikes were carried out on the Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn regions, on our energy sector, on our railway,"

Zelenskyy stated.

Kyiv warned the Belarusian authorities

The president emphasized that Ukraine has repeatedly warned about the danger of drawing Belarus into the war on Russia's side and has already conveyed its position to the Belarusian leadership.

"Belarus has time to dismantle this equipment,"

the head of state stressed.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is not interested in further involving Belarus in the war and counts on steps that will help reduce tensions and bring peace closer.
