Zelenskyy: Ukraine does not have 100% evidence that Chinese weapons are getting to Russia

Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has no absolute proof that Chinese weapons are reaching Russia, although some dual-use drones or parts for them come from China and Europe, and if China is developing weapons together with Russia for use in Ukraine, sanctions will need to be imposed.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has no absolute proof that weapons from China are being delivered to Russia. China could also play a huge role in ending the war, in particular, by helping to put pressure on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on this issue. He said this in an interview with Bloomberg on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"I would like to see China play a serious role, a great country, a real second economy, on which Russia is very much dependent today, because it has nowhere to export many different goods because of the sanctions.
According to him, China could play a "tremendous role without weapons" and could help pressure Putin to stop the war.
He also pointed out that Ukraine has no absolute proof that Chinese weapons are getting to Russia.
"The Chinese leader himself assured me that he would not do this. Some details are there. I think some drones or parts for drones, dual-use drones, probably, but they are not only Chinese, I'll tell you frankly. They come, unfortunately, from some European countries, and this can be fought against. It seems to me that if the leader of China had wanted this not to happen, it probably would not have happened," the head of state said.
Zelenskyy also commented on Bloomberg's report, citing its own sources in the EU, that Chinese and Russian companies are jointly developing a strike dronesimilar to Iran's Shahed kamikaze drone. According to him, if this is confirmed, sanctions will need to be imposed.
"If China is developing weapons together with Russia that will be used on the territory of Ukraine, or that will be used to support Russia's war against Ukraine, I am sure that we can impose absolute sanctions and work in this direction.
