Details

The channel is organizing the vice presidential debate in New York. The day before, CBS News offered the candidates four possible dates: September 17, September 24, October 1, and October 8.

Soon after, Walls agreed to the October 1 date.  A little later, his opponent also wrote on social media that he was ready for the October 1 debate. The Republican also called on his Democratic counterpart to take part in a debate on CNN in September.

The American people deserve as many debates as possible, which is why Trump has already called Kamala for three of them. I am accepting not only the CBS debate on October 1, but also the CNN debate on September 18. I look forward to seeing you at both

said Vance.
