The US military attacked the positions of pro-Iranian armed groups in Yemen and Syria. The US Department of Defense announced that last weekend it carried out air strikes on several weapons depots of Houthi militias in Yemen.
In Syria, the US military attacked a weapons depot and logistics center belonging to a pro-Iranian militia, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM).

The attacks followed major upheavals in the Middle East. On October 7, 2023, the Iranian-backed Hamas terrorist group invaded southern Israel and killed about 1,200 people and took another 250 hostages. As a result of the war, other Iranian-backed terrorist groups attacked Israel.
