Ukrainians' trust rating for Zelenskyy has risen, followed by Zaluzhnyi and Budanov - poll

A KIIS poll showed an increase in trust for Zelenskyy to 61%. The highest ratings are held by Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Kyrylo Budanov, and Robert Brovdi.

As of early June this year, the level of trust in Volodymyr Zelenskyy among Ukrainians stands at 61%. For comparison, in April 2026, the same figure was 22%. This is reported by UNN with reference to a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
Details
The survey was conducted between May 7 and June 3, 2026, in all regions controlled by the government of Ukraine. 1,015 respondents aged 18 and older were interviewed.
At the same time, only three figures included in the survey have a trust level higher than that of the president:
- Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ambassador to the United Kingdom, former Commander-in-Chief of the AFU — 73% trust him, 21% do not trust him;
- Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President, former Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine — 70% trust him, 22% do not trust him;
- Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU — 70% trust him, 7% do not trust him.
Meanwhile, the current Commander-in-Chief of the AFU, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is trusted by 52% (36% do not trust him), and Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov is trusted by 50% (21% do not trust him).
At the same time, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has a trust level of 38% (50% do not trust him), and former President Petro Poroshenko has 26% support (71% do not trust him). People's Deputy and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has 11% support (85% of Ukrainians do not trust her).

According to KIIS data, over 60% of Ukrainians support a ceasefire on the condition that European troops are deployed along the front line.
