Ukrainian Defense Forces repel over 50 enemy attacks in Kurakhove sector - General Staff on the situation at the front

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops engaged in 173 combat engagements and conducted 69 air strikes on Ukrainian positions. Most attacks were registered in the Kurakhove sector.
Over the past day, 173 combat engagements were recorded at the frontline. Russian troops were most actively trying to advance in the Kurakhove sector, where more than 50 battles took place, according to the General Staff's report, UNN reports.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile and 69 air strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and localities, including one missile and 114 missile launchers. In addition, they fired over three thousand times, 112 of which were from multiple rocket launchers.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one artillery vehicle at a firing position and two ammunition depots of the invaders.
With the support of aviation in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked eight times in the area of Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk sector, 13 occupants' attacks took place over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Pishchane, Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Zelenyi Hai, Kruhlyakivka, Kolisnykivka and Lozova.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 14 times. They tried to break into our defense near Hrekivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Torske and in the Serebryansky forest. In addition, the enemy actively used aviation, fired 30 unguided missiles and dropped 6 unmanned aerial vehicles.
In the Northern sector , the enemy conducted seven offensives in the areas of Ivano-Daryivka and Vyymka during the day.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked once near Predtechyne.
In Toretsk sector , the enemy, supported by air power, conducted eight attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. The enemy directed most of the attacks at Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsky sector , our defenders stopped 23 aggressor's offensives towards Mykolayivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Selydove, Sukha Balka, Myroliubivka, Sukhyi Yar, Krutyi Yar and Novohrodivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 51 attacks. The occupants were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Illinka, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Hostre, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Kostyantynivka, Kreminna Balka and Katerynivka.
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made 12 attacks on our positions near Trudove and Maksymivka.
The enemy actively used aviation to attack near Novoandriivka, Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka in the Orikhivsk sector.
In the Prydniprovsky sector , our troops repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Kozachy Lager, Dnipryany and Kozatsky Island, the enemy was not successful.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors , no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
The operation in Kursk region is ongoing, the General Staff added.
