Ukraine opens access to Russian weapons technologies to partners through the TrophyLab platform

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched the TrophyLab platform, which will provide verified users with access to information about modern Russian weapons captured on the battlefield. This was reported by Ukraine's Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov, as UNN reports.

Details

According to him, each unit of captured Russian equipment is not only a military achievement but also a source of valuable information about the enemy's technologies.

Each unit of Russian equipment captured on the battlefield is not just a trophy. It is knowledge about how the enemy's weapons work

- Fedorov stated.

He recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian military personnel, scientific institutions, and research centers have been studying captured weapons, analyzing their components, technological solutions, and vulnerabilities.

Now these developments will become available not only to Ukrainian developers but also to international partners.

Ukraine will provide access to Russian technologies for our partners. Companies, research centers, and governments of free world countries will be able to study Russian missiles and other weapons in detail. This will help find effective solutions to counter the enemy faster and strengthen joint efforts for Ukraine's victory

- he emphasized.

The TrophyLab platform opens access to the results of research on captured equipment for Ukrainian defense technology manufacturers, military units, scientific institutions, and international partners.

Users will be able to obtain technical documentation, research results, and analytical materials regarding modern Russian weapons.

In addition, the system allows submitting requests for physical examination of captured equipment samples.

Several formats for working with samples are provided – from non-destructive research to tests involving complete disassembly or destruction of the item. This allows engineers to test their own solutions on real enemy equipment and significantly shorten the cycle of creating countermeasure technologies

- Fedorov explained.

The minister also emphasized that Russian weapons, which were supposed to be the Kremlin's secret advantage, are turning into a tool for strengthening the defense capabilities of Ukraine and its allies.

Russia is using its entire arsenal against Ukraine. We are not only repelling strikes – we are taking this weapon apart down to the screw. What was supposed to be their secret advantage is turning into open information for those who defend democracy. The more Russia uses its weapons – the more the world learns how to stop them

- he stated.
