Ukraine is preparing a new meeting with the US and finalizing security guarantees – Zelenskyy
Kyiv • UNN
Ukraine is developing mechanisms for responding to new aggression and financing the army. The parties are coordinating the format of the meeting and the supply of additional air defense systems.

Ukraine, together with its partners, is working on preparing a new meeting with the United States, and also continues to finalize the package of security guarantees. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as reported by UNN.
According to the Head of State, the negotiation process continues in a trilateral format, but some of the planned contacts were postponed due to the situation in the Middle East. Currently, the parties are coordinating a new meeting – either in the same format or with a possible visit of the American delegation to Ukraine with further contacts in Moscow.
We are preparing a new meeting with the United States. Some formats had to be shifted due to the situation in the Middle East, but the dialogue continues.
The President emphasized that one of the key areas of negotiations remains the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine. In particular, this concerns the financing of the Ukrainian army after the war, as well as additional air defense systems from partners.
There are several key blocks that we are finalizing. This includes financing our army after the war, and additional air defense systems that our partners have, particularly the United States.
Separately, according to the Head of State, work is underway on the most difficult element – a clear mechanism for the allies' response in the event of a repeated Russian aggression.
The most difficult issue is the specific response of partners, primarily the United States, in the event of a new aggression. This is what intensive negotiations are currently focused on.
