The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the validity of the invitation for Trump's representatives to Kyiv. The teams of Ukraine and the United States are jointly working to strengthen the security document.

Ukraine remains open to a visit by envoys of US President Donald Trump, and the invitation to the American side remains valid. In parallel, Kyiv and Washington are working to strengthen the security guarantee document. This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi during a briefing, as reported by UNN.

According to him, Ukraine is interested in continuing dialogue with the United States and is ready to receive American representatives as soon as appropriate readiness appears.
"We will be glad to welcome them when such readiness exists."
Work on security guarantees continues
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the key direction of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States remains the strengthening of the security guarantee document.
This refers to the joint work of the teams of both states, which is already underway and has concrete achievements.
"We have ongoing work between the Ukrainian and American teams to strengthen the security guarantee document. New opportunities have opened up to make this document stronger, particularly in view of developments in the Middle East and Ukraine's role in these processes," he explained.
He added that this work was agreed upon earlier and is currently actively ongoing at various levels.
Contacts between the parties do not cease
According to Tykhyi, the Ukrainian and American sides are in constant contact, and the negotiation process does not stop.
Representatives of various state institutions are involved in it, working to coordinate positions.
"The teams are in touch, the work continues. This is a joint process, and we are moving forward in preparing this document," he noted.
The visit is related to further agreements
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that a possible visit of American representatives is directly related to progress in the negotiations.
In particular, specific dates and format of contacts will depend on the results of work on the document.
"I think that after the development of this document, we will see more precise plans for contacts between the teams. Our invitation remains valid, and we will be glad to see American representatives in Kyiv," Tykhyi concluded.
