Decree No. 374/2026 allows a parade in Moscow on May 9, 2026. Red Square has been temporarily excluded from the AFU's fire destruction plan.

Ukraine has officially allowed a parade to be held in Moscow on May 9. Zelenskyy signed the decree

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has allowed a parade to be held in Moscow on May 9 by signing a corresponding decree, UNN reports.

Taking into account numerous requests, for humanitarian purposes outlined in negotiations with the American side on May 8, 2026, I hereby decree: to allow a parade to be held in the city of Moscow (Russian Federation) on May 9, 2026

As stated in the decree, for the duration of the parade (from 10:00 a.m. Kyiv time on May 9, 2026), the territorial square of Red Square will be excluded from the deployment plan of Ukrainian weaponry.

The document also specifies the coordinates of the Red Square square:

          This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its signing.
