Speaking to reporters outside Washington after returning from Florida, Trump was asked how long it might be before Iranian officials return to the negotiating table amid a fragile ceasefire.
"I don't care if they come back or not," he replied. "If they don't come back, I'm fine with that."
Trump said that during weekend talks led by US Vice President J.D. Vance, Iran stated that it was insisting on nuclear weapons.
"They still want it, and they made that clear last night. Iran will not have nuclear weapons," he said.
