Thousands of homes are threatened by fire in Northern California. Firefighters are currently battling the wildfire, which is considered one of the largest recorded in California. They compared it to the 2018 Paradise Fire, which destroyed 11,000 homes.
According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, more than 1,150 firefighters have been deployed to fight the fire, and more than 3,500 people have been displaced.
