According to the newspaper, warrants may also be issued for Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and the IDF Chief of Staff, as well as members of Israeli security services. This could happen as early as next week, The Times writes.
In response, Netanyahu said that any decisions of the ICC would not affect Israel's actions, but would "set a dangerous precedent.

Earlier, the Israeli news agency Channel 12 reported that Israel is increasingly concerned about the possibility that the ICC will issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and other senior officials for alleged violations of international law in the Gaza Strip. The report said that the Prime Minister's Office held an "emergency discussion" on the issue.
