The Kremlin stated that Putin's special representative, Kirill Dmitriev, is in the US as the head of an economic group and is not conducting negotiations regarding Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov claims that Putin's special representative Kirill Dmitriev is visiting the United States as the head of an economic affairs group and is not holding negotiations there on a Ukrainian settlement. This is reported by Russian media, writes UNN.

"Yes, first of all, I can confirm this visit. Secondly, Kirill Dmitriev is not holding negotiations on a Ukrainian settlement. And this is not a resumption of negotiations," Peskov said.
He noted that the special envoy heads a group on economic issues and works within this group.
