The issue of Kyiv's winter preparations will be submitted to the NSDC for consideration - Svyrydenko
Kyiv • UNN
The NSDC will review Kyiv's winter preparations due to the slow pace of work. The state has already allocated nearly 4 billion hryvnias to the capital for these needs.

The issue of Kyiv's preparation for the next heating season will be submitted for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in the near future. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko following a meeting with the capital's mayor, reports UNN.
Details
According to the head of government, the state has already provided significant financial and organizational support to prepare the capital for the autumn-winter period.
Kyiv must be fully prepared for the next winter. This is the direct responsibility of the city authorities. For its part, the state provides and will continue to provide all necessary support to the capital
She noted that nearly 4 billion hryvnias from the state budget reserve fund have already been directed toward the capital's preparation. Additionally, the state has provided co-financing for half of the necessary measures, and part of the work is being carried out by the Restoration Agency.
Furthermore, support programs are in place for the installation of individual and backup power sources in apartment buildings.
At the same time, according to Svyrydenko, the current pace of the city's preparation for the heating season is a cause for concern.
Currently, we do not see a sufficient pace of city preparation for the next heating season. There are delays in the implementation of a number of important measures that must be promptly addressed
The Prime Minister emphasized that preparation for winter must become the top priority for the capital's authorities.
Today, there is no more important priority for the city authorities than preparing the capital for winter. Kyiv has the largest budget among all Ukrainian cities, as well as all the necessary capabilities, including full state support, to ensure proper readiness for the heating season
Based on the results of the meeting, the government and city authorities defined a list of priority measures and specific deadlines for their implementation.
The task is clear — Kyiv must be prepared in advance and properly for any challenges of the next autumn-winter period
Given the critical importance of this issue, the Cabinet of Ministers will initiate its consideration at an NSDC meeting to adopt the necessary decisions.
