According to him, a comprehensive set of solutions has been formed to counter attacks and strengthen the region's air defense.

These include missile attacks, guided aerial bombs, various types of attack drones, and FPV drones. As a result of these attacks, 122 civilians were killed, and more than 1,200 people were injured, among them many children

He noted that in the region, more than 2,600 residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and energy and civilian infrastructure facilities have also been damaged or destroyed.

According to him, since June, the security situation in the region has significantly deteriorated. The enemy changed tactics and scaled up the use of Molniya-type UAVs, fiber-optic FPV drones, attack drones, and guided aerial bombs.

"Russia's goal is to terrorize people and make life in the border regions unbearable. ... The focus is on increasing the effectiveness of air defense, building capabilities to counter attack drones and aviation threats, protecting critical infrastructure, logistics, and people. Some of the solutions are not made public for security reasons. But the main thing is that they are aimed at significantly strengthening the protection of Sumshchyna," the minister added.
