Rescuers have released photos of the aftermath of Russia's massive overnight attack on Kyiv, which caused dozens of fires in the capital and damaged residential buildings, schools, dormitories, retail facilities, and a business center. This was reported by the State Emergency Service, according to UNN.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the strike caused a fire at a school covering an area of 300 square meters. An entrance of a five-story residential building was also destroyed, with fire engulfing the first through fifth floors. Additionally, hits were recorded at a business center, a market, and a nine-story building where, according to preliminary data, one person was killed.

In the Darnytskyi district, the roof of a two-story dormitory caught fire over an area of 150 square meters; rescuers evacuated the residents. In the Desnianskyi district, a supermarket and a shopping center were damaged, and garages were on fire. In the Dniprovskyi district, fires broke out in a private house and a garage cooperative.

In the Obolonskyi district, rescuers extinguished a fire in a 16-story residential building at the level of the 12th and 13th floors, as well as a fire in a construction hypermarket. In the Solomianskyi district, a UAV strike caused a fire on the 23rd floor of a residential high-rise and damage to warehouses in an industrial zone.

Hits and destruction were also recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi and Pecherskyi districts. The State Emergency Service noted that all emergency services continue to work at the strike sites and are liquidating the consequences of the attack.
