Law enforcement officers are investigating a possible undervaluation of the Ocean Plaza Mall prior to its sale. Documents were seized from State Property Fund officials during searches.
Today, searches were conducted at the residences of certain officials of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, and documents that may be relevant to the investigation were seized. As reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, a possible undervaluation of the Ocean Plaza shopping mall prior to its sale is being investigated, UNN reports.

The Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office, is investigating criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of power or official position that caused grave consequences.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the case concerns possible abuses during the preparation for the sale of the Ocean Plaza shopping mall, an asset seized as state revenue by a decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
According to the investigation, certain officials of the State Property Fund of Ukraine may have acted in the interests of representatives of commercial structures to create conditions for the sale of this asset to a predetermined business entity at an artificially low price.
In particular, the investigation is verifying facts of possible influence on the mall's appraisal procedure, the formation of the auction starting price, the determination of sale conditions, and the restriction of the circle of potential buyers, which could lead to the sale of the state asset at a price that does not correspond to its real market value and cause losses to the state budget of Ukraine.
On June 18, 2024, authorized searches were conducted at the residences of certain officials of the State Property Fund of Ukraine as part of the criminal proceedings.
During the investigative actions, documents were seized that may be relevant to the investigation.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
