The russian Foreign Ministry announced the possible suspension of the IAEA mission at the Zaporizhzhya NPP due to the statements of Rafael Grossi.
russia may stop the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission at the Zaporizhzhya NPP. This statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country, UNN reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted with hostility to an interview with IAEA Head Rafael Grossi, who told the German news agency DPA that the Agency's representatives would stay at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant "until the war is frozen.
In a statement, the russian Foreign Ministry said that such statements are beyond Grossi's competence. It claims that the IAEA Secretariat experts are at ZNPP "at the request of Director General" Rafael Grossi himself and only as long as the aggressor country "considers their stay there to be justified."

In October, Zaporizhzhia NPP lost connection to the 330 kV backup power line twice in one month. The plant was left on the only external 750 kV power supply needed to cool the reactors.
