Starting June 15, bus lanes for exiting Ukraine will undergo repairs at the Medyka checkpoint. Throughput capacity will decrease to eight units per 12 hours.

On the border with Poland, starting Monday, June 15, due to repair work, the processing and passage of buses at the "Shehyni-Medyka" checkpoint will be carried out with delays. This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.

It is noted that starting tomorrow, repair work will begin at the Polish checkpoint "Medyka" on the traffic lanes intended for processing buses entering Poland (exiting Ukraine).

According to information from the Polish side, bus service will not be suspended; however, it should be taken into account that the processing and passage of buses will be carried out with delays.

The estimated throughput capacity may be up to 8 buses over a 12-hour period.

In view of the repair work, a decrease in the overall throughput capacity of the bus direction is predicted.

"Shehyni-Medyka" is one of the busiest checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border and daily handles a significant volume of international passenger traffic by bus and passenger car
