Starting June 15, 2026, bus departures to Poland will be suspended due to repairs at the Shehyni - Medyka checkpoint. The works will continue until November 2027.
Starting June 15, 2026, large-scale repair work will begin on the bus lane at the "Shehyni – Medyka" checkpoint for travel from Ukraine to Poland. Consequently, the passage of buses toward Poland will be temporarily suspended. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.

It is noted that the repair work will last until November 2027.
Due to the repairs, the passage of buses from Ukraine to Poland through the "Shehyni – Medyka" checkpoint will not be carried out during this period
At the same time, buses traveling from Poland to Ukraine will cross the border through this checkpoint as usual.
The State Customs Service urged carriers and passengers to take these changes into account when planning trips and to choose other checkpoints for departure to Poland.
