Deputy Prime Minister Kuleba reported massive shelling of rolling stock and locomotives. Movement is restricted for the safety of passengers and preservation of equipment.

Since the beginning of March, Russian troops have carried out more than 40 attacks on rolling stock on the railway, said Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister of Development of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Kuleba during the question hour to the government in parliament, writes UNN.
As for railway communication. You know that since the beginning of March alone, we have had more than 40 attacks on rolling stock. The situation is extremely difficult. And the cessation of movement is not due to bad weather, but to the military aggression of the Russian Federation, which simply monitors our rolling stock, our locomotives, and most importantly, our people, specialists who work there.
Commenting on the question of flight cancellations, Kuleba indicated that "all these measures are taken exclusively for one purpose: to save the lives of people, passengers and our railway workers, and, of course, to save equipment."
"We are working comprehensively with air defense, with other subjects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to make a comprehensive measure," he noted.
