For Ukrainian travelers in the Chernivtsi region, a "Point of Invincibility" has been deployed at the border due to queues of tourist buses, while in the Zakarpattia region, warnings have been issued regarding possible delays at the border with Hungary, UNN reports, citing the State Emergency Service and the State Border Guard Service.

"At the 'Vylok - Tiszabecs' international border crossing point for road traffic, infrastructure modernization work is underway," the State Border Guard Service stated, referring to the checkpoint on the border between Ukraine and Hungary in the Zakarpattia region.

Specifically, it is reported that the Service for Restoration and Infrastructure Development in the Zakarpattia region is replacing modular structures used by the regulatory authorities.

"Due to the works, which will continue until June 19, 2026, a temporary slowdown in border crossing operations is possible," the State Border Guard Service noted.

Travelers were urged to take this information into account when planning trips abroad and, if possible, to choose an optimal travel route in advance.

Meanwhile, as reported by the State Emergency Service, "Bukovinian rescuers have deployed a 'Point of Invincibility' at the state border due to the accumulation of tourist buses and long wait times for control procedures."

Here, one can rest, get drinking water, charge a phone, and stay in comfortable conditions. Interesting leisure activities have been organized for children, and State Emergency Service psychologists are providing support to both adults and little ones.

The State Emergency Service drew attention to the following if you are planning a trip abroad:

  • take into account the possible increase in waiting times at checkpoints;
    • check up-to-date information regarding the situation at the border in advance;
      • ensure a supply of water, necessary medications, and personal hygiene products;
        • when traveling with children, prepare everything necessary for their comfortable stay on the road in advance.

          "All services are working together to ensure that even in difficult circumstances, people feel safe and receive the necessary assistance," the State Emergency Service stated.
