In the Russian city of Saratov, a fire broke out at the Saratov Oil Refinery on the night of May 31 following a drone attack. This was reported by ASTRA with reference to its own OSINT analysis, according to UNN.

The Governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, stated that the threat of UAV attacks persists. According to him, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, and there is currently no information regarding casualties.
Monitoring channels published photos and videos of the fire taken by local residents. An ASTRA analyst determined that one of the images was taken from a distance of about 12 kilometers from the Saratov refinery. Analysis of another photo, according to the publication, indicates a fire in the enterprise's tank farm.
The Saratov Oil Refinery, owned by Rosneft, is one of Russia's oldest oil refining enterprises. According to ASTRA, the plant has faced at least ten attacks in 2025, and temporarily suspended operations after a strike in March. By the end of 2023, the enterprise had processed approximately 4.8 million tons of oil.
