Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 133 times in 24 hours, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector - 26 attempts. The enemy suffers significant losses, 19 firefights are still ongoing.
The enemy continues to try to advance into the depths of Ukraine's territory, and the defense forces are holding back the invaders, inflicting significant losses on them. Today, the number of enemy attacks has increased to 133. This is stated in the daily summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
"The border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions continue to suffer from Russian artillery shelling. A number of localities, including Tymofiyivka, Bachivsk, Senkivka, Berylivka and Oleksandrivka, suffered from the terrorist army's shelling today," the General Staff said in a statement.
In Kharkiv sector, the occupants stormed the positions of our units near Hatyshche.
The enemy attacked our positions six times in the Kupyansk sector . Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Lozova. One firefight is still ongoing.
In the Liman sector, enemy units attacked in the areas of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Platonivka, Pershotravneve, Nadiya, Makiivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Ivanivka and Bilohorivka. Ukrainian troops have repelled 15 attacks since the beginning of the day, six firefights are still ongoing. Moreover, enemy aircraft attacked Serhiivka.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has made one futile attempt to push our defenders from their positions in the Northern sector .
In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders carried out five assault operations near Chasovyi Yar. Two occupants' attacks are currently underway.
In the Toretsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks in the vicinity of Shcherbynivka and Toretsk, two more engagements are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have already made 26 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Solone, Novooleonivka, Novovasylivka and Novoyelizavetivka in the Pokrovsk sector. The defense forces have already repelled 22 enemy attacks in the area, holding back the enemy's offensive. The enemy is suffering significant losses in manpower.
In the Kurakhove sector, the militants attacked our troops 16 times, trying to advance in the areas of Ukrainka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne. Four battles are ongoing.
In the Vremivsk sector, the invaders conducted 17 attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions near the localities of Kostyantynopolske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Kostyantynopil, Dachne and Pryvilne. Four firefights are ongoing, and enemy aircraft also struck with guided aerial bombs at the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Rozlyv and Komar, dropping a total of nine guided bombs.
The enemy did not conduct active operations on the Orikhivske, Huliaypillia and Prydniprovskyi directions .
In Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks by Russian invaders today, 19 firefights are ongoing, and the enemy fired 152 artillery rounds.
